My groomsmen gifts budget was only $20 maximum per groomsman. My parents were kind enough to cover their tuxedo rental costs, but it was still up to me to come up with some kind of thank you gifts for the wedding party guys.
I was really wary of ordering from websites online that didn't display a phone number, didn't show a picture of their location or that claimed to have "cheap groomsmen gifts". I wanted to know that I was ordering from an established website and not a fly-by-night website. I needed inexpensive but nice presents for each groomsman. That's when I found Gunther Gifts and all my worries disappeared.
I knew I was at the right place when I saw their building on the bottom of their homepage. No other groomsmen gifts website displayed a photo of their facilities and it made me wonder why not. Maybe they didn't want me to see a picture of their garage or home? Gunther has a toll free number and has been online since 1999 and has served 100,000's of customers. That was enough to reassure me completely.
As for price, I chose the $10 silver plated money clip. At first I was going to give these out plain, but then my bride-to-be told me to spring for the extra $5 each for the engraving. An engraved gift, even a modest one, is something that is kept forever. I agreed with her and had each guy's first name engraved in a Roman font.
I'm glad I did because it added extra value to my groomsman gifts. One of my ushers said it was the first time he ever received a personalized gift and he thought it was fantastic because his name was engraved on it. I'm glad everyone liked them. My modest budget did go a long way with Gunther. I got myself an engraved money clip too. We all used them on the wedding day so we wouldn't have awkward, bulky wallets in our tuxedo pockets.
