The Buck Rush 291 has all the features of the 290 Buck Rush models except for the blade. The 291 (this model) utilizes 154CM steel. 154CM steel is quite durable and is well suited for heavy cutting applications.

The Buck Rush utilizes patented ASAP Technology. Buck's ASAP system uses a "dual-pivot" mechanism that has a blade release lever to aid in blade opening. A cam lock safety keeps the blade closed for protection. This lock is handle-mounted next to the blade release lever to allow for convenient, quick one-hand operation.
