Free personalization. The engraving of the 3 letters is free of charge. The outer letters are the first letters of the bride and groom's first names. The middle, larger letter stands for the last name of the married couple. For instance, if you have Betty and Adam as the bride and groom with a last name of Connor, you would enter the letters as either BCA or ACB. It is up to you as to whether you put the bride or groom's initial first. But, in either case, the last name letter goes in the middle.
