The Gerber Mark II was first manufactured back in 1966. It was tested in Vietnam. Gerber has brought this knife back into production with updated serrations, sheath design and the latest manufacturing processes while keeping the traditional design and feel. This knife was trusted by past generations and now is available to our new generation of soldiers. The traditional shape and feel of the original Mark II features a double bevel blade and die-cast aluminum handle. Enhanced features include the easy to sharpen serrations, ballistic nylon (with plastic insert) sheath and leg straps. The Mark II is proudly made in the U.S.A.
