Two first names and your wedding date spelled out are what would be done for you. Engraving font is as shown in the sample photo.

Dimensions: Cake server is 10 1/2" x 3" wide. Cake knife is 12 1/2" long by 1" wide. The nice thing about the brushed finish is that it doesn't not show fingerprints as readily as a shiny finish item would.

Personalization tips: In the box where it asks you to enter names, you would enter your first names separated by an ampersand (&). For example, Mary & Robert or Robert & Mary. It is up to you as to whether to put the man or the woman's name first. Either way works. In the box where it asks you to enter date, you would spell out the whole date. For example, September 16, 2012. Don't abbreviate the month.
